Cat Chat in aid of Charity
If you own a cat - or just love cats - then make sure that
you don't miss out on the chance to learn the secrets of their
behaviour (good and bad!) with an informative and fun evening
in aid of a local animal charity. On September 12, cat behaviour
counsellor and author Vicky Halls will be giving a talk on a
wide range of cat behavioural issues; her work as a cat behaviouralist;
and general cat healthcare - as well as answering your questions.
Organised by Stanhope Veterinary Centre in Strood, tickets
for the two and half hour event cost just £5 each and
are reedeemable against a copy of Vicky's brand new book "Cat
Counsellor" which shows how miraculous results can be achieved
merely by changing the way we relate to our cats.
The event will be held at Strood Library, Bryant Rd, Strood
at 7.00pm – but you will need to buy a ticket beforehand. This
event is a follow up to Vicky's hugely successful previous 'Cat
Chat' evening organised also by Stanhope Veterinary Surgery
in June this year.
All proceeds from the event go to local charity, CavyRescue,
who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome 'small furries' such as
guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and rats.
For more information, or to buy a ticket, call Stanhope Veterinary
Centre on 01634 713065.
About CavyRescue:
CavyRescue (registered charity number 1111583) was set up in
1999 by husband and wife team Jason and Stella Hulott. They
have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed over 2,600 small furries
(guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils), now specialising
in rats. Their aim is to educate individuals and organisations
on small animal healthcare and welfare and we regularly run
successful campaigns to this effect.
